Terms and Conditions
Welcome to PA Remaps.
By booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
Workmanship & Service
- All work is carried out by experienced professionals using quality equipment.
- We only tune within safe mechanical limits designed by the manufacturer.
- We offer a guarantee on our software. If you experience a fault with the tune within 30 days, we will correct it free of charge.
Vehicle Condition & Responsibility
- It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the vehicle is in good mechanical health before any tuning or diagnostic work.
- We are not responsible for existing mechanical faults, engine issues, or worn components.
- If a vehicle has unreported faults or damage, we cannot be held liable for any consequences.
Call-out Charge and Refusal of Work
A minimum call-out charge of £60 applies in the following circumstances:
- If the vehicle is found to be already tuned, modified, or has had unauthorized work carried out previously.
- If the vehicle is deemed mechanically unsound, unsafe, or not in a suitable condition to proceed.
- If we are unable to carry out the work for any other reason due to the condition of the vehicle or circumstances found upon arrival.
This fee covers our time, travel, and inspection costs and is payable regardless of whether the main service or work is completed.
Data & Files
- We always save your original stock file before making any changes.
- We will keep a backup of your file for our records, but we recommend you also keep a copy.
- In the future, if you require the original file to be put back, standard labour charges apply.
Warranty
- Remapping is performed at the customer's own risk.
- While our tuning is safe and reliable, we cannot guarantee compatibility with manufacturer warranties.
- We are not liable for any costs incurred if a manufacturer refuses warranty work due to a tune. We can return the vehicle to standard settings to assist with this.
Insurance & Legal
- It is the customer's responsibility to inform their insurance company of any engine tuning or modifications.
- All our work is designed for road use and emissions compliance where applicable.
IMPORTANT – Emissions Equipment & Off-Road Use
Please note regarding DPF, EGR & AdBlue solutions:
- Any software or hardware modifications that alter or remove emissions control systems (DPF, EGR, AdBlue) are offered FOR OFF-ROAD USE ONLY.
- It is illegal to use a vehicle with these modifications on public roads in the United Kingdom.
- By purchasing these services, you agree that the vehicle will only be used on private land or race tracks.
- PA Remaps will not be held responsible if a customer chooses to use the vehicle on public roads illegally.
- It is the customer's responsibility to understand and follow the law regarding vehicle emissions and road usage.
Cancellations & Payment
- Payment is due in full upon completion of work unless prior arrangement has been made.
- If you need to cancel or rearrange, please give at least 24 hours' notice.
- We accept Cash, Bank Transfer, and Card payments (where available).
Liability
- PA Remaps will not be held liable for any loss, damage or consequential damage of any nature whatsoever caused by the use of our services, software or advice.
- Our total liability is limited only to the cost of the service provided.
Mobile Service
- We aim to arrive at the agreed time, however, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or technical issues beyond our control.
- Please ensure there is suitable access and power available If needed for us to work safely.
